Mark Dempsey Football player

Mark James Dempsey (born 14 January 1964) is an English coach and former footballer. In February 2009, he took up a post in youth development with Tromsø IL and the Northern Norway region.Dempsey was born in Moston, Manchester. He played as a midfielder in The Football League for Manchester United, Swindon Town, Sheffield United, Chesterfield and Rotherham United, and in Non-League football for Macclesfield Town. He was a youth coach with Manchester United before moving to Norway.On 9 November 2010, Dempsey joined Molde as part of new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær's backroom staff. He followed Solskjær to Cardiff City in January 2014 as part of a new-look backroom staff after the sacking of Malky Mackay.He currently lives in Eide near Molde with his partner and daughter.
