Matt Carkner Ice hockey player
Matthew "Matt" Carkner (born November 3, 1980) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens 58th overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft and has also previously played for the Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks.
