Melanie Valerio Swimmer

Melanie Valerio, born May 7, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, is a United States swimmer, who graduated from Hawken School in Gates Mills, Ohio and the University of Virginia. Valerio won a gold medal as a member of the winning 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.
