Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu Politician

Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu (born 5 February 1968) is a Turkish politician who has served as Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2014. He is also a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, where he represents Antalya Province. First elected to Parliament in the 2002 general election, he is a founding member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP). He was the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 2010 to 2012.
