Mike Richards Ice hockey player

Michael Richards (born February 11, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently a member of the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL). He previously played for, and was captain of, the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL, and most recently the Los Angeles Kings. He was drafted in the first round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Flyers, 24th overall. Richards has been a member of two Stanley Cup-winning teams; in 2012 and 2014, both with the Los Angeles Kings. Richards has been on numerous championship teams: the Memorial Cup (Kitchener Rangers - OHL), World Juniors (Team Canada IIHF), Calder Cup (Philadelphia Phantoms - AHL), Olympic Gold (Team Canada) and the Stanley Cup (Los Angeles Kings).
