Mike Van Diest College coach

Mike Van Diest is an American football coach and former player. He has been the head football coach at Carroll College in Helena, Montana since the 1999 season. Van Diest's Carroll Fighting Saints have won six NAIA National Championships, four consecutively from 2002 to 2005, a fifth in 2007, and a sixth in 2010. In his 16 seasons at Carroll, Van Diest has compiled a career record of 186–30. His winning percentage of .861 is the fifth highest of any head coach with at least ten seasons of experience in college football history, behind only that of Mount Union's Larry Kehres, Notre Dame's Knute Rockne, Frank Leahy of Boston College and Notre Dame, and Bob Reade of Augustana (Illinois).
