Mohammad Haroon Military person

Vice-Admiral Mohammad Haroon, HI(M), SI (M), is a retired 3-star rank naval officer and the former Vice Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan Navy. He got commission in the Operations branch in 1971. Mohammad Haroon joined the elite Submarine Squadron in 1972, He is the only officer in Pakistan Naval History to have commanded three Submarines and a Type 21 Frigate. He also has the longest sea time in years than any other officer in Pakistan Navy. He is a graduate of Naval War College, USA and did his National Defence Course from National Defence University, Islamabad. He retired from active service as Vice Chief Of Naval Staff in 2007.
