Naheed Akhtar Musical artist
Naheed Akhtar (or Nahid Akhtar) is a Pakistani playback singer.She was born in Multan. She was discovered by veteran musician M. Ashraf in the mid-1970s. Initially, Naheed Akhtar was a replacement of Runa Laila, who had left Pakistan the same year but soon she became a well established and one of the most famous singers in her own right. Her debut film was Nanha Farishta in 1974 and that year she sang songs in the film Shama. She is rated as one of the best female singers of Pakistan.
