Neilus Flynn Gaelic games player

Neilus Flynn was a hurler who played hurling with Causeway in Co Kerry. He was the club's first Kerry Senior Hurling Championship-winning captain in 1932. He also captained St Brendan's to County Championship success in 1936. In 1987 his family donated a cup to the Kerry County Board. It is presented to the winners of the Kerry Hurling Championship.The inscription on the cup reads:CORN NEILUS Ó FLOINN CRAOBH IOMÁINTSINSIR CONTAE CHIARRAÍBRONNAITHE AG MUINTIR UÍ FHOINNAN TÓCHAR AR CHOISTE CHIARRAÍ C.L.GI GCUIMHE A NATHAIR NEILUSMEAN FHÓIR 1987.
