Norman Kwong Politician
Norman Lim "Normie" Kwong (Lim Kwong Yew Chinese: 林佐民; pinyin: Lín Zuǒmín; Jyutping: Lam4 Cho3 Man4; born October 24, 1929) is a former professional athlete, sports executive, and was the 16th Lieutenant Governor of Alberta.His parents immigrated from Taishan, Guangdong, China, and he is the first person of Chinese heritage to serve as lieutenant-governor of Alberta. As the former vice-regal representative in Alberta, he is styled "The Honourable" for life. Kwong is the second Chinese Canadian to be appointed as a vice regal in Canada.
