Patrick A. Hope Politician

Patrick A. Hope (born March 6, 1972) is an American politician. Since 2010, he has served in the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 47th district in Arlington County, outside Washington, D.C. Hope is a member of the Democratic Party.Currently, Hope is running in a Democratic primary in the 8th Congressional District in Virginia. He is seeking to become the Democratic candidate to replace the retiring Rep. James Moran Jr. (D-VA) in a general election to be held in November 2014. The 8th CD is considered a "safe" Democratic seat, with the Democratic nominee presumed the de facto winner in the general election.
