Paul Adam Military person

Paul Adam (23 March 1892 – 30 November 1969) was a highly decorated Oberst i.G. der Reserve in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Paul Adam was captured by Soviet troops in May 1945 in the Courland Pocket, and was held until 1948.
