Paul LePage Politician

Paul Richard LePage (born October 9, 1948) is an American businessman and Republican Party politician who has served as the 74th Governor of Maine since 2011.The General Manager of the 14-store discount chain Marden's Surplus and Salvage (1996-2011), LePage served as a City Councilor in Waterville for two terms before serving as Mayor of Waterville (2003-11). He was elected Governor with a plurality in a four-candidate race in 2010 and was re-elected with a plurality in a three-candidate election in 2014.
