Paul Whitaker Cricketer

Paul Robert Whitaker (born 20 July 1973 in Keighley and went to Grange Middle School and Whitcliffe Mount School Yorkshire) is a former English cricketer. Whitaker was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm Off-break. Whitaker joined Hampshire in 1994, making his first-class debut against Leicestershire. In the 1995/96 New Zealand cricket season, Whitaker also represented Central Districts in six one-day matches in the Shell Cup. Whitaker was released by Hampshire at the end of the 1998 County Championship season. He also represented England at U 17, U 18 and U 19 level. He is now the co owner and Regional Manager of Property Brokers Real Estate company in Hawke's Bay New Zealand where he is responsible for 13 different centres and over 100 people. Paul was one of the top Real Estate sales people in the country between 2001 - 2010 selling over 1000 houses and in his best year selling over 160 houses.
