Peter Shiels Rugby player

Peter Shiels (born 4 September 1973 in Bankstown, New South Wales), is an Australian former rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s. He played for Penrith, Western Suburbs, Western Reds, Newcastle Knights in Australia and St Helens in the European Super League as a Second-row and as a Prop.As Super League V champions, St Helens RLFC played against 2000 NRL Premiers, the Brisbane Broncos in the 2001 World Club Challenge. Shiels played at second-row forward in Saints' victory. Shiels played for St Helens RFC from the interchange bench in their 2002 Super League Grand Final victory against the Bradford Bulls.
