Raffaella Di Marzio Scientist
Raffaella Di Marzio is an Italian clinical psychologist. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the academic journal, Cultic Studies Review. Di Marzio is the director of the Sectes, Religion, Spirituality Counseling Center, in Rome, Italy. She is also a member of SIPR, Società Italiana di Psicologia della Religione (Italian Society of Psychology of Religion), founded a support center in Rome for individuals directly or indirectly affected by alleged cults and she is also a ICSA Today's News Co-Correspondent for Italy. With Albert Amitrani, her article "Blind, or Just Don't Want to See? Brainwashing, Mystification, and Suspicion", was later cited in two separate articles by Michael D. Langone. Di Marzio is a contributor to the encyclopedia: Religions of the World: A Comprehensive Encyclopedia of Beliefs and Practices, as well as Enciclopedia delle religioni in Italia, as well as Religions of the World: A Comprehensive Encyclopedia of Beliefs and Practices.
