Rao Inderjit Singh Politician

Rao Inderjit Singh (born 11 February 1951) is an Indian politician who is a Minister of State in the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a member of the 16th Lok Sabha, the lower house of the parliament of India. He represents Gurgaon in Haryana and is a member of Bhartiya Janta Party. He is a prominent leader of the Ahir community.At the national level he has served as Cabinet Minister for the Environment, as Minister of State for External Affairs, and as Minister of State for Defence Production. Since 2009 he has Chaired the Parliamentary Information technology committee.
