Raúl Ibañez Baseball player

Raúl Javier Ibañez (/ɨˈbɑːnjɛz/; born June 2, 1972) is an American professional baseball left fielder and designated hitter who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.Ibañez was an All-Star in 2009, and has won the Player of the Week Award five times. Over his career, Ibáñez, who did not make 500 plate appearances in a single season until the age of 30, has batted .273 with 422 doubles, 304 home runs and 1,205 runs batted in (RBI) over nineteen major league seasons. He has eight seasons with 20 or more home runs, two seasons with 30 or more home runs, six seasons with 90 or more RBI, four seasons with 100 or more RBI, and ten consecutive seasons (2002–2011) with 30 or more doubles.
