Richie Vernon Rugby player
Richie Vernon (born 7 July 1987) is a Scotland rugby union player formerly of Glasgow Warriors. He currently plays for Sale Sharks for the 2011/12 season. Educated at the High School of Dundee. He won his first cap for Scotland as a replacement for Johnnie Beattie in the 23 – 10 victory over Fiji in the 2009 Autumn Internationals. His older brother Dave Vernon is a Scottish international who plays rugby league for the Edinburgh Eagles.
