Riley Emmerson Ice hockey player

Riley Emmerson (born February 7, 1986 in Burnaby, British Columbia) is a Canadian Ice Hockey Left Winger who currently plays for the Edinburgh Capitals of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). He was drafted by the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League in the seventh round (199th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.On October 4, 2012, Emmerson was assigned by the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League to the Missouri Mavericks, its Central Hockey League affiliate.On September 19, 2013, Emmerson signed with the St. Charles Chill of the Central Hockey League though he was released before the season began. Emmerson then tried out with the Springfield Falcons before signing the San Francisco Bulls in the ECHL. On November 26, 2013 he was claimed off waivers by the Ontario Reign. Emmerson was scoreless in 22 games before he returned to the CHL with the Arizona Sundogs.On August 8, 2014, Emmerson began his European career in agreeing to a one-year contract with the Edinburgh Capitals of the United Kingdom EIHL.
