Rita Fan Politician

Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai, GBM, GBS, CBE, JP (born 20 September 1945, Shanghai, China) was the President of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (LegCo) after the transfer of sovereignty from the United Kingdom in 1997. She was the first woman to hold that position. She is a member of the Hong Kong delegation to the 11th National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China.
