Rita Heard Days Politician

Rita Heard Days (born October 16, 1950) is a Democratic politician from St. Louis, Missouri. She was born in Minden, Louisiana, the seat of Webster Parish, Louisiana. She was educated at historically black Lincoln University in the Missouri capital, Jefferson City. Days has three children: Elliott, Natalie, and Evelyn.She was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in a special election in 1993, and served in that body through the year 2000. She was elected to the Missouri State Senate in 2002.
