Roberto Dañino Prime minister

Roberto Enrique Dañino Zapata (born March 2, 1951) is a Peruvian lawyer and former Prime Minister of Peru under President Alejandro Toledo. He was also the Peruvian Ambassador to the United States and the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of The World Bank. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Fosfatos del Pacifico, a Peruvian phosphate mining joint venture with Mitsubishi corporation, as well as the Deputy Chairman of Hochschild Mining PLC, a leading silver and gold producer and Deputy Chairman of Cementos Pacasmayo. He was awarded the Order of the Sun (Gran Cruz) in 2003, which is the highest honor bestowed on a Peruvian citizen.
