He plays as a prop.He plays for Carrasco Polo Club.Sanchez is currently one of the most international player for Uruguay, counting 60 caps, from 1996 to 2009, with 4 tries scored, 20 points in aggregate. He had 3 caps at the 1999 Rugby World Cup and 4 caps at the 2003 Rugby World Cup, remaining scoreless in both competitions. He was also recently involved in the 2011 Rugby World Cup qualifyings.
