Sarah Abitbol

Sarah Abitbol (born 8 June 1975, in Nantes, France) is a French pair skater. With partner Stéphane Bernadis, she is the 2000 World bronze medalist. Abitbol started skating when she was six, when given a choice of swimming or skating. She teamed up with Bernadis in 1992. Abitbol and Bernadis withdrew from the 2002 Olympics after she suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon – she underwent surgery and missed six months.
