Scott Baker Journalist

Scott Baker (born March 4, 1964) is an American journalist, commentator, blogger, online talk show host, educator, and political campaign worker. On August 31, 2010, Baker became managing editor of the blog The Blaze. Previously, Baker worked for Voice of America (Washington, D.C.), CBS News (New York City), and at television stations in Erie, Pennsylvania, and Saginaw, Michigan before becoming an evening news anchor for thirteen years at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For fifteen years, Baker lead and taught the Broadcast Journalism School at the Leadership Institute in Arlington, Virginia. He helped start BreitbartTV in 2007. Baker frequently speaks across the country at events such as the Broadcast Journalism School at the Leadership Institution in Arlington, Virginia. He has also written a play about the life of Dvorak, which has been performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. Baker is a senior editor at OpEdNews.
