Scott Newman Politician
Scott J. Newman (born January 14, 1947) is Minnesota attorney, politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represents District 18, which includes portions of McLeod, Meeker, Sibley and Wright counties just west of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. He was the Republican nominee for Attorney General of Minnesota in the 2014 election but was defeated by Democratic–Farmer–Labor incumbent Lori Swanson.
