Sebastien LaPlante Ice hockey player

Sebastien LaPlante (born April 23, 1971) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player. He is currently employed as an American Hockey League assistant coach with the Houston Aeros.Born in 1971 in Cap-Rouge, Quebec, LaPlante attended Northeastern University where he played four seasons of NCAA college hockey with the Northeastern Huskies men's ice hockey team. He began his professional career in 1993 with the Greensboro Monarchs of the ECHL. He went on to play 175 professional games, scoring 77 goals and 115 assists for 192 points.
