Shivdeep Lande
Shivdeep Waman Lande is an IPS Officer of 2006 Batch who currently serves as city sp of Patna. Earlier, he served as the Superintendent of Police in Araria, Purnia and Jamalpur districts of Bihar. He also served as the SP of Patna (Central Region), where he was quite popular. He arrested many criminals, ranging from fake cosmetic sellers to medicine mafia. Lande became a hero among young girls of the cities, as he took strict action against eve-teasers. However, he ensured proper media coverage in all his major anti-crime operations.As per reports, he donates 70% of his salary to a social organisation which arranges marriage for poor girls and hostel for poor students.
