Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz (Polish: [staˈɲiswaf iɡˈnat͡sɨ vitˈkʲɛvit͡ʂ]; 24 February 1885 – 18 September 1939), commonly known as "Witkacy", was a Polish poet, playwright, novelist, painter, photographer and philosopher.
