Stephanie Vogt Tennis player

Stephanie Vogt (born February 15, 1990) is a professional tennis player from Liechtenstein. She was born in Vaduz. Her highest WTA singles ranking was 206, which she reached on October 31, 2011. Her career high in doubles was 225, reached on April 23, 2012. Vogt had a successful junior career, winning 5 ITF singles titles, as well as 6 doubles titles. Her career-high world ranking as a junior was 5, and she finished her career with a record of 79-26. On the ITF women's circuit, Vogt has won four singles titles, at Davos in 2007, Makarska in 2008 and both Velenje and Cairo in 2010. She has also won two doubles tournaments with Polona Hercog, at Makarska and Majorca in 2008. Her success in 2008 led to the ITF announcing that she had been given one of the two invitations into the main draw for the Summer Olympics in Beijing. However, she was forced to withdraw through injury and was replaced by Tamarine Tanasugarn. Vogt has represented Liechtenstein on three occasions in the Fed Cup, accumulating an overall record of 9-8. As of May 30, 2011 she is ranked 262 in singles and 383 in doubles. She is the only player from Liechtenstein to currently hold a WTA ranking. At the 2011 Games of the Small States of Europe, held in Liechtenstein, Vogt won 3 gold medals. She defeated Kathinka von Deichmann in the final of the singles, whilst also partnering with Von Deichmann to win the women's doubles. The mixed doubles was won with Jirka Lokaj. This built on her success from the 2007 Games, where she won a gold medal in the singles, before combining with Marina Novak to take silver in the doubles. She did not participate in the 2009 event.
