Stuart Gray Sports manager

Stuart Gray (born 19 April 1960) is an English former footballer and manager, who is the former manager of Football League Two side Northampton Town. On 30 December 2010 he was appointed the caretaker manager of Burnley following the sacking of Brian Laws, reverting to his role as first team coach when Eddie Howe was appointed on 16 January 2011. Gray left Burnley after the 2010-11 season finished, as part of a restructuring exercise. On 11 July 2011 he was appointed first team coach at Portsmouth becoming caretaker manager on 14 October 2011. Following the appointment of Michael Appleton in November 2011, Gray became first-team coach, a role he left in April 2012 having been made redundant following Portsmouth's financial difficulties.
