Thomas Gilovich Scientist

Thomas Dashiff Gilovich is a professor of psychology at Cornell University who has done research in social psychology, decision making and behavioral economics, and has written popular books on these subjects. He has collaborated with Daniel Kahneman, Richard Nisbett, Lee Ross and Amos Tversky.Gilovich earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and his Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University in 1981. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a Fellow of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.He is married to Karen Dashiff Gilovich, with whom he has two daughters, Ilana and Rebecca.
