Thomas Lothian Politician

Thomas Lothian (December 14, 1928) was a Wisconsin politician, legislator, and college professor.Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Lothian graduated from Cleveland Heights High School before receiving a B.A. from Ohio State University in 1953. He also received a M.A. in chemistry from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Lothian was a college professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After serving in local political offices, Lothian served in the Wisconsin State Assembly for eight years. In March 2010, Lothian announced his retirement. He was succeeded by Rep. Tyler August.
