Thomas Tidy Cricketer

Thomas Tidy (6 October 1847 – 11 September 1918) was an English cricketer. Tidy was a right-handed batsman. He was born at Hurstpierpoint, Sussex. Tidy made a single first-class appearances for Kent against the Gentlemen of the Marylebone Cricket Club in 1868 at the St Lawrence Ground. In Kent's first-innings of 145, Tidy was dismissed for 5 runs by Richard Mitchell, while in their second-innings of 148 he was dismissed for 16 runs by Charles Buller. The Gentlemen of Marylebone Cricket Club won the match by 132 runs. This was his only major appearance for Kent. He died at Hildenborough, Kent on 11 September 1918.
