Thomas W. McGee Politician
Thomas William McGee (May 24, 1924 – December 21, 2012) was a U.S. politician who served as a member of the Lynn, Massachusetts City Council (1956–1963) and Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives (1963–1991), serving as its Speaker from 1975 to 1984. He was the father of Massachusetts state Senator Thomas M. McGee.McGee died on December 21, 2012 in Lynn, Massachusetts, where he was born and lived much of his life.
