Tim Erixon Ice hockey player

Tim Carl Erixon (born February 24, 1991) is an American-born Swedish professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently playing with the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Erixon was acquired in a 2014 trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets. He was previously selected by the Calgary Flames who selected him in the first round, 23rd overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Erixon has previously played for Skellefteå AIK in the Elitserien. The son of former NHL player Jan Erixon, he has represented Sweden at the World Junior Hockey Championships, winning a silver medal in 2009.
