Timothy B. Schmit Musical artist

Timothy Bruce Schmit (born October 30, 1947, in Oakland, California) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter, best known for his work as the bass guitar player and singer for Poco and the Eagles. Schmit has also worked for decades as a session musician and solo artist. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles, the first year they were nominated.
