Tyron Carter Musical artist

Yohann Michel better known as Tyron Carter (born in Madagascar on 10 January 1985) is a French singer and rapper.Yohann Michel passed his initial years between Madagascar and Thailand. He immigrated to France in 1994 when he was nine. Influenced by hip hop, he started music in 1998 at 13 years old in the collective Récidiviste, and then formed his own group Phenom-n with Sir Kenny, Loey et Lyess. He adopted the stage name Tyron Carter.He was working with DJ E-Rise in Paris where artist M. Pokora heard his music and invited him to take part in what became to be one of his biggest recording hits of Pokora called "De retour". The single reached #3 in France and #11 in Belgium. On the recording, he was credited as Tyler Carter. He also opened for Pokora on some of the venues in the latter's Player Tour across France that culminated in a big concert on 13 January 2007 at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. As M. Pokora had also founded his own record label M2theP Entertainment, Tyron Carter became the first artist to be signed to the label.On 28 May 2007 he released his debut album, Mon hold-up that did poorly failing to make to the Top 100 chart and reaching just #121. The first solo single was "Ne me dis pas" that featured M. Pokora. The single reached #24 on the French Singles Chart.In Decembre 2007, Carter also launched his mixtape Dirty club.
