Umar Farooq Cricketer
Umar Farooq Ahmed (4 January 1979) is a former Danish cricketer. Farooq's batting style is unknown, but he did bowl slow left-arm orthodox. Farooq represented Denmark Under-19's in 6 youth One Day Internationals in 1998, He later made his debut for Denmark in a List A match against Wales Minor Counties in the 1st round of the 2004 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy which was held in 2003. In his only List A match he scored 12 runs, before being dismissed by Matthew Mason.
