Virginia D. Smith Politician
Virginia Dodd Smith (June 30, 1911 – January 23, 2006) was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1975 to 1991 from the Third Congressional District of Nebraska. She was the first, and to date only woman to represent Nebraska in the United States House of Representatives.
