Vladimir Vujasinović Athlete

Vladimir Vujasinović to Serbian parents hailing from Ivoševci village near Knin, Vujasinović grew up in Istria. He is a Serbian water polo player who played on the bronze medal squad of FR Yugoslavia at the 2000 Summer Olympics, the silver medal squad of Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and numerous other titles. He is currently the captain of Partizan Raiffeisen. Vujasinović was named best player in the world several times. In 2003 he was declared for the best athlete of Serbia and Montenegro, and in 2005 the Olympic Committee of Serbia and Montenegro declared him for the best sportsman. Vladimir played 341 matches for his county and scored 391 times. In 2011. he won with Partizan Raiffeisen the National Championship and National Cup of Serbia, LEN Euroleague (his fourth overall), LEN Supercup (third overall), Eurointer League and Tom Hoad Cup.
