Vontrell Jamison American football player

Vontrell Jamison (born July 26, 1982 in Holly Hill, South Carolina) is a former American football defensive end. He attended training camp with the St. Louis Rams in 2005, but he was cut at the end of August 2005 prior to the start of the regular season. In early November 2005, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He was on the Cowboys's practice squad for most of the year on the Cowboys' practice squad, but he was activated to the regular lineup at the end of the season following an injury to Kevin Burnett. He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson University. He was cut by the Cowboys in August 2006. He also played one game for the New York Dragons in the Arena Football League in 2007, recording one tackle. He is the cousin of former San Diego Chargers defensive tackle Adrian Dingle and former NBA player Harold Jamison.
