Waldemar von Gazen Military person

Waldemar von Gazen called Waldemar von Gaza (6 December 1917 – 13 January 2014) was an Officer in the German Wehrmacht and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves and Swords was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
