Wilhelm Noller Military person

Wilhelm Noller (28 November 1919 – 26 December 2011) was a highly decorated Leutnant in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. During his career he flew 1058 missions, during which he was credited with the destruction of 86 tanks, 2 armoured trains, 2 ships, 5 bridges, and two aerial victories.
