Zdeno Chára Ice hockey player

Zdeno Chára (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈzdeno ˈxaːra]; born March 18, 1977) is a Slovak professional ice hockey defenseman who currently serves as captain of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He won the James Norris Memorial Trophy while playing for the Bruins in 2008–09.He is the tallest player ever to play in the NHL. He is also the second European-born and trained captain to win the Stanley Cup in 2011, and the first born and trained in a country within the Iron Curtain.
