Živko Budimir Politician

Živko Budimir (Bosnian pronunciation: [ʒîːʋko bûdimiːr]; 20 November 1962) is a Bosnian politician serving as President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the two autonomous entities that compose Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is also vice president of the Croatian Party of Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina.Budimir become the President of the Federation after political crisis after the general election held in October 2010. Political parties were unable to form a government. In March 2011, Social Democratic Party, Party of Democratic Action, Croatian Party of Rights and People's Party Work for Betterment formed a coalition named the Platform (Platforma) in which Budimir was elected President of the Federation.Budimir was previously Colonel General in the Army of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VFBiH) and Major General in the Croatian Army (HV).
