Sanjaya Fernando

Magage Asantha Sanjaya Fernando is one of the two coaches of the first Sri Lankan women's water polo team. In 2009, under the supervision of Sanjaya, the women's team won the bronze medal at 11th Asia pacific water polo tournament held in Kowloon park, Hong Kong. In addition to coaching the National team, Sanjaya has also coached other teams such as Royal College, Sri Lanka Air Force & Visakha Vidyalaya. A national water polo player himself before becoming The coach; he was one of the prime drivers of the historical Royal College victory over S. Thomas College in year 2005.
