Al Crook American football player

Alfred John Crook was a professional American football player for the Detroit Panthers. He attended Washington & Jefferson College and was the starting center and defensive end for the Presidents in the 1922 Rose Bowl. His nickname was "Monk" and it was given to him by his teammates at W&J College.
