Charles Fernandes Rugby player
Charles Walker Luis Fernandes (3 April 1857 — 12 August 1944 (aged 87)) born in Wakefield, was a rugby union footballer of the 1880s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Leeds, and Yorkshire Wanderers, as a Forward, e.g. Front row, Lock, or Back row, he died in Thirsk. Prior to Tuesday 27 August 1895, Leeds was a rugby union club.
